So here come the big month October for Indian smartphone market, Where much-awaited smartphones are on track to unveil in this festive season. The Android legends Google and Huawei have lined events since last month where both companies individually plan to launch two flagship devices each. While Google will bring its Pixel series, Huawei will launch its latest Kirin SoC based Mate series of smartphones with most-powerful camera setup.
The month saw the launch of some of the year’s most-awaited smartphones namely Google Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, OnePlus 6T, Huawei Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Nokia 7.1 Plus, Oppo K1, Razer Phone 2

Google Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL
The Internet giant already confirmed about its next-generation flagship phones on the October 9. Those are namely the Google Pixel 3, and Pixel 3 XL. As said google has already started teasing about the launch via micro websites and Google Store.he event is scheduled to take place in New York but Google is also planning additional events in London, Paris and few other markets at the same time.
From the previous reports, we have already got a clear idea about the new smartphones. Unless Google surprises us with something extremely different, we expect that these will be the final Google Pixel 2018 smartphones at the launch event.
OnePlus 6T
Oneplus next “Flagship killer” phone has gone through a number of leaks and the leaks also confirmed about OnePlus is going to bring in the next iteration 6T on October 17. And already we have seen official teasers have already taken centre stage on the web and televisions. The Bollywood star Amitabh Bachan is starring in a Tv commercial where he can be seeing holding the device in his hands.
The OnePlus 6T is a slightly more advanced variant of the OnePlus 6. The device has face unlock and also a fingerprint sensor. Based on Android Oreo, the device features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Optic AMOLED display. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 845 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and comes with 64GB of onboard storage space. OnePlus might be upgrading the battery capacity in OnePlus 6T to 3700mAh which up from current OnePlus 6‘s 3300mAh battery.
Huawei Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro
Huawei next Flagship series Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro is set to launch at an event in London on October 16. According to the leaks surfaced on internet the upcoming Huawei Mate 20 flagship series have anticipated wireless charging support for the device.
While both variants of Mate 20 are set to launch simultaneously with Kirin 980, the Pro variant of Mate 20 is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup placed in square array design with L-shape for lenses and fourth being the big LED flash. Apart from this, the device may packs a 4,200mah battery.
Nokia 7.1 Plus and Nokia 7.1
There are two different style of rumours rounding on the Nokia 7.1 Plus. The one is it bears a notch similar to the design of Nokia 6.1 Plus, other with a similar display to Nokia 7 Plus.
Rumours suggest that HMD Global will launch the 7.1 Plus on Oct 4 at an event scheduled to take place in London. It is also expected that the Nokia 7.1 and 7.1 Plus may be the two devices to get unveiled on that day, as the Nokia 9 might be delayed, and might launch next year at MWC 2019.
Oppo K1
Oppo is ouht to reveal that it is launching a new K-series. The company will be releasing the series with the Oppo K1, which is apparently set to take place on 10 October according to the recent post by the company.
The device might also feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. On the rear, the smartphone will feature a gradient colour, and there will be no fingerprint scanner. There is no confirmed name of the phone as yet, but it is widely expected to get branded as Oppo K1. Recently, Oppo got approval for three new smartphones from TENAA certification authority in China, and these could be one device with three different RAM and storage variants at the launch on October 10.
Razer Phone 2
Razer already sent media invites last month for an event on October 10. The company’s second smartphone for gaming junkies The launch event will be held in Hollywood and the invite shows Razer logo, followed by the terms “Flagship” and “Gaming”. The event will start at 6.30PM.
According to the latest rumours, the smartphone will have a design similar to its predecessor. The Razer Phone 2 is expected to have thinner side bezels and could even feature Chroma LED effects.
