Earlier this year, Asus entered into a partnership agreement with Flipkart to launch the Zenfone Max Pro M1 smartphone with a 5000 mAh battery, stock Android and a dual rear camera. Eight months later, Asus released the Zenfone Max Pro M2, the successor in India.
Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 and Max M2 Specifications
Asus also launched Zenfone Max M2, the successor to the Zenfone Max M1, which was launched few months ago. This new smartphone has been significantly improved over previous models, including an improved design, a powerful chipset, an improved camera and notched display.
Zenfone Max M2 and Zenfone Max Pro M2 have a 6.26-inch display. Zenfone Max M2 has a HD resolution of 1520×720 pixels, and Pro has a Full HD screen of 2280×1080 pixels. The aspect ratio of both screens is 19:9.
Snapdragon 660 Octa-Core SoC, hives Zenfone Max Pro M2, is a major upgrade to Max M1 Max Snapdragon 636 SoC. The Zenfone Max M2, on the other hand, is supported by the Snapdragon 632 SoC, a Snapdragon 450 add-in that powers the Zenfone Max M1.
The new Zenfone Max Pro M2 adds two cameras to the back of a 12-megapixel aperture sensor (f/1.8) and a dedicated 5-megapixel depth sensor. This new chipset is also capable of recording 4K video. The front of the smartphone is equipped with a 13 megapixel camera with f / 2.0 aperture and an LED flash.
The Zenfone Max M2 also comes with a dual camera setup that include a 13 megapixel f / 1.8 sensor and a 2 megapixel depth sensor. The camera also supports 4K video recording. On the front, there is an 8 megapixel camera (f/ 2.0) with LED flash.
The Zenfone Max Pro M2 has a 5000 mAh battery, but the Zenfone Max M2 has a 4000 mAh. Both smartphones are equipped with a standard 10W fast charger. Supports connectivity options, such as slots for two SIM cards, 4G LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth and GPS. Both the devices run on Android 8.1 Oreo.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 and Max M2 Price, Availability
Zenfone Max M2 comes in two memory options: 3 GB of RAM with 32 GB of memory is priced at Rs. 9,999 and 4 GB of RAM with a memory of 64 GB variant is priced at Rs. 11,999. The Zenfone Max Pro M2 is available with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage variant priced at 12,999 rupees, 4GB RAM with 64GB storage for Rs 14,999, and 6GB RAM with 64GB storage for Rs 16,999.
Both Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 and Max M2 will be sold Flipkart exclusive. The Max Pro M2 will go on sale starting December 18, whereas the Max M2 will go on sale starting December 20.
