Back in April, Asus launched its smartphone ZenFone Max Pro M1 on Flipkart which is the perfect competitor to the al mid-range smartphones, and now the company has announced that one million units of the device have been sold. Asus with its smartphone which is aggressively priced with key highlights that include an 18:9 full-HD+ display, a large 5000mAh battery (with 10W charger), a Snapdragon 636 SoC, and face unlock – all at a price starting at Rs. 10,999.The smartphone available in two colour variants black and grey.
Asus claims that its milestone has been reached in less than six months, and yes this Zenfone Max Pro M1 is the cheapest smartphone with Snapdragon 636 chipset on board and this number comes as a no surprise because Indians love affordably priced smartphones. However, the company didn’t reveal which variant sold the most.
The Asus Zenfone Max M1 comes in three storage options where the 3GB and 32Gbinbuilt storage variant priced at Rs. 10,999. while the model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage will cost Rs. 12,999. The 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant was launched in July and is priced in India at Rs. 14,999. From this, we may confirm that the most sold devices are in between 3GB and 4Gb variants.
Asus has also confirmed that an ‘exciting offer’ will be listed for the ZenFone Max Pro M1 during the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale from October 10 to October 14. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 competes with Nokia 5.1 Plus, Redmi 6 Pro, Realme 2 Pro, Motorola One Power, and many others in the Indian market.
The Asus ZenFone Max M1 flaunts with a 5.99-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels, and taller 18:9 aspect ratio. As said, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset on board.
All the three variants sport` dual camera setup but the configuration varies according to variants. The 3GB and 4GB RAM variants feature a combination of 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel dual cameras at the back and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter at the front. The 6GB RAM variant gets an updated dual camera module with 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel image sensors and a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
