Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 which was launched a few months ago which is a worthy contender to Xiaomi Redmi 5 pro. Up to now the Asus provides only two variant in storage the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB are in the sale. Now, it seems Asus is preparing to add another storage variant to further challenge Xiaomi’s dominance in the Indian market.
Taiwanese smartphone maker confirmed that it will introduce a higher variant with 6GB RAM + 64GB storage soon. While it is yet to be confirmed. The Flipkart on its listing it is spotted high-end model of the Zenfone Max Pro M1.
The listing spotted on Flipkart shows that the product page is under construction and could be released soon. According to the details revealed the higher end device boasts with 6GB RAM and also there is better camera setup which is quite different from other two variants. with 16 MP rear camera with 5 MP for depth sensing and a 16 MP front-facing camera. Other details include the finish of the device which is said to be available in a black color. Also available are other known details like 5,000 mAh battery.
Apart from these features, The ZenFone Max Pro features a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, the same chipset also found under the hood of Redmi Note 5 Pro. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and supports face unlock with over-the-air (OTA) software update.
In terms of connectivity, the ZenFone Max Pro M1 supports WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and 4G LTE. It runs Android 8.1 Oreo with no bloatware and near stock experience.
The price is still marked as ‘unavailable’ but the device was said to be priced at Rs 14,999 at the announcement in India which should make it a worthy competitor to the 6 GB RAM variant of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro.
