Asus on Wednesday launched the Zenfone 7 and Zenfone 7 Pro in an event in Taiwan. A triple-camera setup with the flip mechanism, AMOLED display, latest Snapdragon processor and a massive 5,000mAh battery are the key highlights of the new Zenfone 7 series smartphones.

Asus Zenfone 7 is available in 6GB + 128GB model for NT$ 21,999 (approx. Rs 55,700). There is also a 8GB + 128GB model priced at NT$ 23,999 (approx. Rs 60,765).
The Asus Zenfone 7 Pro costs NT$ 27,990 (approx. Rs 70,900) for the lone 8GB + 512GB model. Both the smartphones will be available in two color options: Pastel White and Aurora Black.

Starting with the display, both the Zenfone 7 and Zenfone 7 Pro comes with a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display that has 110 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut, 105 per cent NTSC colour gamut, 700 nits brightness, Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection and 90Hz screen refresh rate.
Zenfone 7 Pro draws its power from Snapdragon 865+ SoC and it is coupled with Adreno 650 GPU. Zenfone 7, on the other hand, is fuelled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC paired with Adreno 650 GPU. Zenfone 7 is backed by up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage, whereas the Zenfone 7 Pro packs 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
As for the photography, the newly launched Asus Zenfone 7 series features triple-rear camera setup that comprises of a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 4-axis OIS, 12-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and 8-megapixel telephoto lens wtih 3X optical zoom.
Running on the Android 10 OS out of the box with ZenUI 7 skin, both the phones are backed by a 5000mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging.
In terms of connectivity, the smartphones support 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, Galileo(E1+E5a), QZSS(L1+L5), NavIC(L5), USB Type-C, NFC and dual SIM. The devices measure 165.08 x 77.28 x 9.6 mm and weighs 230 grams.
