Asus Zenfone 7 series to launch on August 26: Here’s how to watch the launch event online

Asus is about to launch its next-gen flagships in the form of the Zenfone 7 series, and the date of the launch is August 26. The new Asus Zenfone 7 series will be launched in Taiwan on 26th August.

The launch event will be live-streamed on Asus official YouTube channel from 2PM local time (6AM GMT, 2AM ET). The teaser image suggests that the smartphone might be featuring quad-rear camera setup, as there are four circles behind the word “7”.

As rumour has it, there are set to be at least two phones this time around on the Zenfone 7 series. The two phones are expected to be the Zenfone 7 and Zenfone 7 Pro.

Even though the brand will unveil the Asus Zenfone 7 series on August 26 in home-country Taiwan, it is likely to launch the phones in other countries including India after few weeks.

To recall, the Asus Zenfone 7 was spotted on the benchmarking site Geekbench earlier and it revealed few key specs of the phone. As per the Geekbench listing, the device will be powered by a 1.80GHz octa-core chipset (expected to be Snapdragon 865 +) paired with 16GB of RAM. The phone will run Android 10 out of the box with the company’s UI.

Going by the rumors, the upcoming Zenfone 7 will also carry the predecessor Zenfone 6’s flip camera design, where the dual rear camera could be flipped to act as a front camera.
