Asus ZenFone 6Z and 5Z Get A Big Price Cut in India

Taiwanese giant Asus launched its flagship smartphones — the Asus Zenfone 5Z, 6Z in India few months ago. Now, both phones have received a major price cut in India. As of now, there is no information whether these price cuts are temporary or permanent.

To remind you, the Asus 6Z was launched in India for Rs. 31,999 for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version while the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version was priced Rs. 34,999. The top end variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage was launched for Rs 39,999.

Now, the 6GB + 64GB variant of the Asus 6Z is selling at Rs. 27,999 after a price drop of Rs 4,000 while the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant now costs Rs 31,999. The higher storage variant of 8 GB RAM + 256 GB internal storage has got a price drop of Rs 6,000 and is currently priced at Rs 34,999.

The Asus 5Z was launched in India for Rs. 24,999 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version and the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version was launched at Rs 28,999 and is currently selling at Rs 21,999. The 6 GB RAM and 64GB storage variant is selling at Rs 16,999 after a price cut of Rs 5,000.

Asus ZenFone 5Z specifications

Asus ZenFone 5Z features a 6.2-inch IPS LCD Full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and notch on the top. It has upto 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The storage is further expandable up to 256 GB through external SD card.

Under the hood, it is fuelled bu Snapdragon 845 SoC paired with Adreno 630 GPU. As for the cameras, it comes equipped with a dual-camera setup which comprises of a 12 MP + 8 MP sensors with f/1.8 and f/2.4 apertures and 1.4-micron pixel size. Powering the phone is a 3,300 mAh battery that supports fast charging.

Asus ZenFone 6Z specifications

The Asus Zenfone 6Z sports a 6.4-inch full screen display that has FHD+ resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6.

Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC. For photography, it has a unique rotating camera module which houses a dual-camera setup. The camera setup includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 4.0.
