Asus Zenfone 5Z has been a rapid success in India and while it is one of the perfect flagship killers in the mid-budget segment. After the massive success of Zenfone 5Z, the company could be working on ZenFone 6 series that may go official at the upcoming MWC event in February 2019. Leaked photos of the upcoming ZenFone 6 smartphone reveal that Asus is working on another flagship phone with an in-display camera and a rear-mounted triple camera setup.

As you can see in the first image, the ZenFone 6 prototype is placed near the ZenFone 5Z. Compared to the ZenFone 5Z, the ZenFone 6 appears to be featuring a notch-less display bounded by slimmer bezels. There is an in-screen camera is situated on the top-left corner of its display. The bottom edge of the ZenFone 6 prototype has a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB-C and an external speaker grille. Moreover, the prototype is seen acquired by a glass on the front and perhaps a glass back.

The second image shows that the in-display camera can be seen at the top-right corner of the screen of the ZenFone 6 prototype. There is another image showing the smartphone with a smaller display notch like the OPPO R17 or F9.

However, another prototype appeared on a Portuguese podcast channel, which hints towards a similar design but with a different cut-out on the front located on the upper right side of the screen.

The model likewise bears waterproof marking on the back side with a very reflective finish in black color. There is a dual camera setup on the back side which looks standard, and there is no indication of earphone jack or other ports.
