Asus launched its latest flagship smartphone Asus Zenfone 6 at an event in Valencia, Spain. This smartphone comes with RAM up to 8GB and internal storage up to 256GB. Asus Zenfone 6 is the world’s first smartphone to feature a flip camera.
Asus Zenfone 6 comes with a starting price of 499 Euros [Rs.39,000 Approx.], the 6GB RAM variant is priced at 559 Euro [Rs. 43,900 Approx] and the top-end variant comes with a price tag of 599 Euros [Rs. 47,000 Approx.] The company is yet to confirm the smartphone price and availability in India.
Asus Zenfone 6 Specifications
Asus Zenfone is featured with a 6.4 inch IPS LCD FHD + display and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6. Asus Zenfone 6 is powered with the latest Snapdragon 855 processor and comes in two RAM variants 6GB and 8GB. Asus Zenfone 6 is also backed with a massive 5,000mAh battery which also supports 18W quick charge 4.0.
To talk about the cameras, Asus Zenfone 6 sports the industry-leading 48MP primary camera with the flagship Sony IMX586 sensor and a secondary 13MP ultrawide angle camera.
Another interesting thing to be noticed about this smartphone is that there’s no selfie camera. Instead, the back camera pop’s up and will act as a front camera, which means dual cameras for selfies too.

For connectivity, Asus Zenfone 6 has 3.5mm audio jack, USB type C port, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and runs the latest Android 9.0 Pie. It comes in three variants, 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and, 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage and in Midnight Black and Twilight Silver colour variants. It will go on sale from May 25.
Looking at the price range and premium features, this latest flagship from Asus will directly compete with the flagship smartphones from OnePlus, Redmi and Realme.
