We have been reporting on Taiwanese brand Asus’ upcoming flagship in the Zenfone-series for quite some time. Previously, reports hinted that the upcoming Zenfone 6 might feature dual slider display now a image has surfaced showcasing the design of the device.
Asus India has posted a new teaser about the Asus Zenfone 6 on its official Twitter handle. Along with the design, the tweet also taking a pot shot at the recently announced OnePlus 7 as part of the OnePlus 7 series. The caption of the tweet states, “5000 > 1+7+3700, so why choose ordinary when you can #DefyOrdinary? #ZenFone6”.

It seems Asus is likely to launch the upcoming Zenfone 6 model with massive 5,000mAh battery as the OnePlus 7 comes with just 3,700mAh battery capacity. The teaser image shows the design of the Zenfone 6, hints at notch-less and bezel-less display. Furthermore, we can also see the power button and the volume rockers on the right edge of the handset.

As we mentioned in the introduction, some of the specifications of the Asus Zenfone 6 have leaked several times. If the leaks about the Asus Zenfone 6 are indeed true, then it may sport a full-HD display and might pack a battery that has support for 18W fast charging. As per the leaks, the upcoming Asus flagship phone will have 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. In terms of optics, the handset is rumored to feature 48-megapixel primary camera sensor. The handset is likely to sport a trending pop-up selfie shooter similar to the slider mechanism that we saw in the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G, Honor Magic 2 and other phones.
The Asus Zenfone 6 smartphone is set to launch at an event on May 14. It is tipped for release globally, however, the exact availability details aren’t known yet.
