Today, Asus India announced eight new laptops in India under ROG Strix Scar, Strix, and TUF series. The latest Republic of Gamers (ROG) gaming laptops are powered by the latest 12th Gen Intel Core H-series processors and AMD Ryzen 6000 series processors. As expected, these laptops also offer a ton of customization options and RGB lighting.

Asus ROG Strix Scar 15/17 Specifications
Except for the difference in screen size, both models have the same specifications. Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 boasts a 15.6-inch QHD LCD screen with a 240Hz refresh rate, support for Dolby Vision HDR and Adaptive Sync. The 17-inch model has a 17-inch QHD display with all the same features.
These laptops come equipped with the latest Intel Core i9-12900H processor coupled with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti GPU and a dedicated MUX Switch. Moreover, it offers up to 64GB super-fast DDR5 RAM and up to 2TB SSD storage. The dedicated MUX Switch helps reduce latency and improves machine performance even more.
In addition, the Strix Scar features customizable Armor Caps and RGB lighting to add a pop of colour to match your gaming style. You can charge the laptop via a USB Type-C port with a whopping 280W power adapter, which charges the laptop up to 50% in just 30 minutes.
There is also WiFi 6E, two USB Type-A USB3.2 Gen1, one Type-C, one Type-C with Thunderbolt 4, one LAN, and one HDMI 2.1. All of the laptops run Windows 11 OS.
Asus ROG Strix G15/G17 Specifications
Asus ROG Strix G lineup laptops are available with two screen sizes 一 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch. They are equipped with up to AMD R9-6900HX processor with up to NVIDIA RTX 3070 Ti GPU. These laptops have 16GB of DDR4 RAM and PCI-E SSD Slot M.2 ITB SSD. The Strix G15 comes with a 15.6-inch IPS Full HD screen with a 300Hz refresh rate, 100% SRGB, and 300 nits peak brightness and Strix G17 offers up to 17.3-inch IPS WQHD 165Hz display with 100% DCI-P3, 300 nits brightness.
Additionally, they feature an upgraded ROG backlit logo and a new dot-matrix pattern, giving the laptop a distinctive appearance.
In addition, ROG Intelligent Cooling provides efficient thermal management. Similar to the Asus ROG Strix Scar series, you’ll also find a Mux Switch for an enhanced gaming experience. The Asus ROG Strix 15 and Strix 17 both have a 90Whr battery and support 240W fast charging, which charges up to 50% in just 30 minutes. The Asus ROG Strix G15 weighs 2.3Kgs while the ROG Strix G17 weighs 2.7Kgs.
A variety of ports are available, including three USB3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C, a LAN port, one HDMI 2.0b, and one audio jack. Additionally, both the laptops have a backlit chicklet keyboard with per Key RGB, a dual speaker with Dolby Atmos.
