A gaming smartphone from Asus, the ROG Phone 5, is being sold for the first time in India on Flipkart from December 26 from 12 PM. The handset comes with a price tag of Rs. 79,999. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G chipset, it is the world’s first smartphone with massive 18GB of RAM.

Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate Specifications

The ROG Phone 5 Ultimate comes with a monochrome PMOLED display on the back, which matches the frosted back glass and storm white colour of the phone. It also supports Asus’ Air Triggers, which allow gamers to use up to 10 motion control gesture inputs, and can be customized too. In the front, you’ll see a 144Hz Super AMOLED display from Samsung with an ultra-low touch latency of 24.3 ms, high colour accuracy, and support for HDR10+ playback.

Furthermore, the phone has a 6000 mAh battery, along with the Snapdragon 888 processor. The phone comes with 18GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Additionally, there is a 3.5mm headphone jack and the ESS Sabre DAC & headphone amp is built inside. 

On the back, you’ll find a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP macro camera. There is also a 24MP front-facing camera. 

In addition, the device comes with a unique “ammo-box” packaging that allows an augmented reality (AR) unboxing experience. Asus also included the 30-watt ROG HyperCharge Adapter and the ROG Aero Case, the ROG AeroCooler 5, and physical trigger buttons.

Additionally, gamers can purchase the AeroActive Cooler 5 separately at Rs. 2999, ROG Kunai Gamepad for Rs. 9999, and ROG Cetra II Core Headset for Rs. 3999.
