After appearing in TENAA, ASUS ROG Phone 5 made a mark on Geekbench with some of its specifications. Its appearance on the Geekbench database suggests Asus might reveal more details about the phone’s specs and launch date soon.
The ROG Phone 5 was spotted with the ASUS_I005DA model number on the GeekBench benchmark. The handset boasts Snapdragon 888. The SoC which is mentioned with its ‘lahaina’ codename. The listing reveals an octa-core processor with a base frequency of 1.80 GHz.
The Geekbench listing also reveals that the handset could come with 8GB of RAM. The software listed on the benchmarking site is the Android 11 OS. The device has landed up on Geekbench with a single-core score of 1125 and a multi-core score of 3714.

The ASUS ROG Phone 5 has already received TENAA and 3C certifications and it revealed that the phone will have 6.78 inches display and will measure 172.834 x 77.252 x 10.29mm. It is expected to feature an OLED panel with support for a high refresh rate.
Although specific camera specs remained under wraps, 3C certification revealed that the phone will be backed by a 6,000mAh dual-cell battery with support for 65W rapid charging. The images of the ROG Phone 5 that have appeared so far suggests that it is fitted with a secondary display on its back. Any more information about the ROG Phone 5 at the moment can only be expected through leaks.
