Alleged Asus ROG Phone 3 appears on GeekBench database

ASUS is set to launch another ROG gaming smartphone very soon. The company likely to launch is the highly speculated Asus ROG Phone 3, the successor to the Asus ROG Phone 2. Apparently, the speculated device might be existing as it was recently spotted on a Geekbench listing confirming a few key specs.

The Geekbench listing comes with the same model number Asus_1003DD, and this tips that the Asus ROG Phone 3 may be powered by the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 processor, and 12GB RAM. Talking about the Wi-Fi Alliance listing spotted earlier, the Asus ROG Phone 2 was spotted on the site and revealed that the device will feature Android 10 OS, Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Wi-Fi Direct and Miracast.

To recall, the predecessor Asus ROG Phone II sports a 6.59-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of optics, it has dual rear camera setup consisting of a 48-megapixel primary lens and a 13-megapixel wide-angle lens with a 125-degree field of view. On the front, it has a 24-megapixel selfie camera.

Further, it packs a 6000mAh battery with 30W HyperCharge fast charging technology. Powering the device is a 2.96GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor paired with Adreno 640 GPU coupled with 8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/512GB UFS 3.0 storage.
