Taiwanese smartphone maker Asus is all set to launch its new gaming smartphone on July 22. The company has added a countdown on the official website confirming that the Asus ROG Phone 3 is coming on July 22.
The launch event of the Asus ROG Phone 3 will start at 11 PM Taipei time (8:30 PM IST) on July 22 and it will be live-streamed on the official Asus website. It is not sure when the ROG Phone 3 will be coming to India. For what’s worth, the Asus India social media handles have not yet started teasing the smartphone.
To recall, the Asus ROG Phone 3 was recently spotted on TENAA revealing all the specifications of the handset. According to the listing, the Asus ROG Phone 3 will have a 6.59-inch AMOLED display that offers 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The device is expected to come with up to 144Hz refresh rate support. Under the hood, it will pack a powerful 3.091GHz Snapdragon 865+ SoC that is paired with Adreno 650 GPU.
Talking about the variants, the Asus ROG Phone 3 is likely to launch in three models: 8GB RAM/128GB storage, 12GB RAM/256GB storage and 16GB RAM/512GB storage.

In terms of optics, the handset is tipped to feature a triple camera setup on the rear that comprises a 64-megapixel main camera, an ultra-wide lens and a telephoto lens. Ont he front, the phone reportedly sports a 13-megapixel. The phone will have an in-display fingerprint scanner.
On the software front, the Asus ROG Phone 3 will ship with Android 10 OS. In terms of battery, the device will be backed up by a 6000mAh battery with 30W HyperCharge fast charging support. The ROG Phone 3 measures 171 x 78 x 9.85mm and it weighs 240 grams.
