Asus is all set to launch a new smartphone in India. The company has confirmed that it will launch the phone on July 22. In a build-up to the launch, the Taiwanese smartphone maker announced that the upcoming ROG phone 3 will be a Flipkart-exclusive. The e-commerce platform already has a dedicated page ready with a teaser for the upcoming gaming smartphone.
Flipkart also started teasing the key features of the Asus ROG Phone 3 5G, confirming that the phone will pack Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus SoC. The teaser image reads “ROG Phone 3, Rule Them All”. The global online event will start at 11PM Taipei time (8:30 PM IST) on July 22nd and it will be live-streamed on Asus website.
Asus ROG Phone 3 Specifications
As far as specifications are concerned, the upcoming Asus ROG Phone 3 will feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED display that offers 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The device is expected to come with up to 144Hz refresh rate support. It will be powered by the 3.091GHz Snapdragon 865+ SoC and it will be paired with Adreno 650 GPU.
Talking about the variants, the Asus ROG Phone 3 is likely to launch in three models: 8GB RAM/128GB storage, 12GB RAM/256GB storage and 16GB RAM/512GB storage.

For optics, the smartphone will feature a triple camera setup on the rear. The setup will include a 64-megapixel main camera, an ultra-wide lens and a telephoto lens. It will be housing a 13-megapixel selfie shooter. The phone will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The handset will boot Android 10 OS and it will be backed up by a 6000mAh battery that supports 30W HyperCharge fast charging. The ROG Phone 3 measures 171 x 78 x 9.85mm and it weighs 240 grams.
