Asus ROG Phone 3 alleged renders leaked; reveals design ahead of July 22 launch

Asus ROG Phone 3 renders have been leaked online, giving us a most detailed look at the upcoming gaming smartphone from ASUS. Renders of the next phone by Asus have been published by 91Mobiles in collaboration with tipster Ishan Agarwal. Talking about the launch of this smartphone, Asus is set to unveil the ROG Phone 3 on July 22.

As per the alleged renders, the Asus ROG Phone 3 is slated to come with a Republic of Gamers branding right below the backlit ROG logo on the rear side. The render also shows that the trigger buttons, volume rockers, and power button will feature on the right edge of the device and the SIM card tray and the proprietary port for charging will be available at the left edge.

Asus ROG Phone 3 has been leaked previously on TENAA and AnTuTu benchmarking site with some of its key specifications out in the open already.

Asus ROG Phone 3 is rumored to feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED display that offers 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The device is expected to come with up to 144Hz refresh rate support. You’ll find a 3.091GHz Snapdragon 865+ SoC under the hood and it will be paired with Adreno 650 GPU.

Talking about the variants, the Asus ROG Phone 3 is likely to launch in three models: 8GB RAM/128GB storage, 12GB RAM/256GB storage, and 16GB RAM/512GB storage. 

In terms of the cameras, the phone is said to come with a triple camera setup on the rear. The setup will include a 64-megapixel main camera, an ultra-wide lens, and a telephoto lens. It will be housing a 13-megapixel selfie shooter. The phone will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner.

It’s obviously going to be running Android 10 OS and will pack a 6000mAh battery that supports 30W HyperCharge fast charging. The ROG Phone 3 measures 171 x 78 x 9.85mm and it weighs 240 grams.
