After four days of smartphone launch, Apple released some information about the repair pricing of an iPhone XR screen. Unsurprisingly, like the iPhone itself, repair cost gets expensive.
The official site of the Apple states that the screen and other damages repair will cost you $199 (approx. Rs. 15,000) and $399 (approx. Rs. 30,000), respectively. The original price of the smartphone itself is $749 (approx. Rs. 55,000) and the damage repair cost is nearly half of the phone’s price!
To fix just the screen of the iPhone XS Max, you’ll have to pay more than more than for the price of iPhone XR screen repair cost, that is $329 (approx. Rs. 24,000) and other damage repairs will cost you $599 (approx. Rs. 44,000). Nevertheless, if you paid for the AppleCare+, a screen replacement for all iPhone models, the XR, XS Max, then it will cost just $29 (around Rs. 2,000) and all other damages will total $99 (approx. Rs. 7,000).
To recall, the iPhone XR comes with a 6.10-inch display with a resolution of 828 × 1792 pixels. Apple iPhone XR price in India starts from Rs. 76,900. The device is powered by the hexa-core processor and it packs 64GB of internal storage that cannot be expanded. It is powered by a hexa-core processor and the device packs 64GB of internal storage that cannot be expanded. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Apple iPhone XS Max packs a 12-megapixel (f/1.8, 1.4-micron) + 12-megapixel (f/2.4) primary camera on the rear and a 7-megapixel front shooter for selfies and video calls.
