No doubt, Apple‘s iPhone has been talk of the town ever since its release back in 2007. However, the iPhone has been pretty bullet-proof to discounts, and special offers. Recently, Apple discontinued the sales of iPhone X, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, and iPhone SE. Within a few days, the company restarted the iPhone X production because of the weak iPhone XS and XS Max sales. Now, it seems the Apple has started selling the iPhone SE as well. That too with a massive discount!
In the US, the iPhone SE was available to purchase with huge discounts (listing spotted by MacRumors). Apple started selling the new, unopened and unlocked iPhone SE units on its online platform with great discounts to clear the stocks. The report notes that iPhone SE 32GB was available at $249 (approx. Rs 17,800) while the 128GB storage variant could be purchased at $299 (approx. Rs 21,400). Both the variants were launched at $349 (approx. Rs 25,000) and $449 (approx. Rs 32,000), respectively.
Although these discounts for the iPhone SE were only for the new units, the refurbished units are still available across e-tailers as low as $69.99 in the US for iPhone SE 32GB. In India, the iPhone SE is available for buyers at Rs 16,999 for the 32GB variant while the 128GB variant is out of stock on Walmart-owned Flipkart.
To recall, the iPhone SE sports a 4-inch HD display (resolution of 640×1136 pixels). The device is powered by the Apple A9 processor and features a 12-megapixel primary camera on the rear while there is a 1.2-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. iPhone SE is backed by a 1,624mAh battery under the hood. The phone has 2 GB of RAM and comes with two variants, one with 32GB storage and another one with 128GB storage.
