Tech giant Cupertino-based company Apple is planning to renovate the charging department of the iPhones. In a series of report and leak related to charging, Apple has been confirmed to introduce upgrades in the wireless charging space as well as in the fast charging tech.

Now, according to the new report, the company will introduce the reverse wireless charging capabilities into the upcoming iPhones and will also bundle an 18W adaptor for fast wired charging. Now, fresh images of an AirPower mat are leaked online seem to be confirming this fact.

According to the Japanese tech news platform, Macotakara claimed that the upcoming iPhone, believed to be the iPhone XI, will come with a reverse wireless feature called PowerShare. This feature allows a smartphone to wirelessly charge other devices that support the wireless charging tech. Huawei and Samsung introduced this feature in their latest flagship phones Huawei Mate 20 Pro and Galaxy S10 series.

The same report also claims that the new AirPods Wireless Charging Case may also be compatible with the wireless charging feature on the iPhone XI. Considering this, the next iPhone may also have noticeably larger batteries than the current generation of iPhones to charge an Apple Watch and/or AirPods case. Ming-Chi Kuo who is known for his accurate predictions about upcoming Apple products (based on industry sources), had already predicted the inclusion of the feature in this year’s iPhone lineup.

Furthermore, the report also hints that upcoming iPhones will be bundled with a new charging cable. Recently, a new image of the AirPower with an iPhone XS and the new AirPods wireless charging case on it appeared on MacRumors, confirming Apple’s plan to release wireless charging mat.
