March has passed and the popular benchmarking site, AnTuTu has revealed its monthly report on the top 10 best-performing Android smartphones. This list might seem surprising to many, but they’ve been ranked based on the average AnTuTu score.
AnTuTu’s top 10 best performing Android smartphones list for March 2019
The smartphone that dominated the chart surprisingly was the Xiaomi’s latest flagship Xiaomi Mi 9 Transparent Edition (Explorer Edition) with a score of 372,072- a phone that relies on the latest and powerful Snapdragon 855 chipset. The Mi 9 is a flagship smartphone from Xiaomi and is the successor to the last year’s Mi 8. The Mi 9 Transparent edition comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage. It features Game Turbo mode for the better gaming experience.
The second place is taken by regular version of the Xiaomi Mi 9 which is launched along with the Mi 9 Transparent Edition. The device achieved a marginally low score of 371,878 and it’s closely followed by the Vivo’s first gaming smartphone Vivo iQOO Monster edition taking the third position with an average score of 365,430.
The next fourth and fifth spots in the list include Samsung’s latest Galaxy S10 series smartphones that are powered by Snapdragon 855 chipset. The Galaxy S10+ sits in the fourth spot with a score of 359,987 while the next smartphone in the list is Galaxy S10 with a score of 359,217.
The list continues with the other Snapdragon 855 powered phones: Vivo iQOO gaming phone and Lenovo Z5 Pro GT and these phones have ranked sixth and seventh respectively with a respective score of 356,510 and 348,591.
The Nubia Red Magic Mars — another gaming smartphone with a Snapdragon 845 chipset comes in at eight with a score of 315,200 while the Honor V20 powered by the Huawei’s own Kirin 980 SoC sits at ninth position with a score of 306,306. At last, the Huawei Mate 20 X is in tenth place with a score of 303,174.
