Android 9 Pie was released earlier this month with stable build along with some exciting features. Promptly out of the stable build, Android Pie was rolled out for Google’s Pixel phones and additionally the Essential Phone. However, during the I/O event, Google announced a partnership with other smartphone brands including Sony, HTC, Xiaomi, Nokia, Oppo, Vivo, and OnePlus to bring Android Pie update to some of their phones.

Vivo has confirmed that it will release Android Pie its devices in Q 4 2018. As the Vivo X21 and X21 UD devices were part of the Google beta program, those two phones will receive Android Pie update first. Other Vivo devices which are eligible for Android Pie are:

Oppo R15 is a part of Google’s beta program. So, this device seems first to get P update along with other Oppo phones such as:

Motorola stated “We will be working with our technology and carrier partners to bring it (Android Pie) to you”. So, we can expect some of their devices to get Android Pie update. Still, the name of the phones receiving the update remains unknown as of now.
