Xiaomi is rumoured to launch a new smartphone allegedly called the Poco F2, the successor of Poco F1. While the company is yet to officially confirm the existence of the phone, a new device with the model number M1912G7BE/C has been certified by China’s certification authority 3C.
The alleged Poco F2 3C certification suggests that the handset could arrive with support for 27W fast charging. Unfortunately, the listing in the 3C database hasn’t revealed anything else about the upcoming Poco phone.
Earlier, the popular case maker Spigen has listed a case for an unannounced Xiaomi phone. The case render posted by the company hints at the Poco F2 being a rebranded version of the Redmi K20 series. Interestingly, the listing for the smartphone by Spigen has a description of the case that shows it is also compatible with the Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro.
A Twitter account user Tech Auntyji, has also hinted at the existence of the Poco F2. In a tweet, the account mentions that the phone “will be timed to rain on the party of a rival flagship killer.” As another competitor Realme is set to launch its flagship Realme X2 Pro in India on November 20, Xiaomi might reveal some details about the Poco F2 in the coming days.
