Alleged Realme 8 hits the Geekbench with Dimensity 720

Realme is reportedly in the works to launch another smartphone soon. A new device dubbed Realme 8 spotted on the Geekbench database website to give us some information about the smartphone. Take a look at the Geekbench listing of the Realme 8 and find out what it has in store for us.

According to the Geekbench listing, the upcoming Realme 8 with model number RMX3092 will be fueled by Dimensity 720 chipset paired with 8GB RAM. The SoC is mentioned with the MT6853V model name in the listing. As for software, it will run the Android 10 operating system out of the box. According to the listing, the alleged Realme 8 managed to score 2874 on the single-core and 8088 on the multi-core test. That’s what we know so far, but considering that it hit the Geekbench, we expect the official launch to be impending.

Recently, the same model appeared on the 3C listing and it revealed that the smartphone could ship with a 65W fast charger in China. The device with the same model number RMX3092 has also received BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification hinting Indian launch soon. 

Realme did not launch Realme 8 or any of its predecessors in its home-country China. So, the company is expected to launch this phone under the Q-series or V-series. A recent report also suggested that the Realme 8 series could be debuting in January 2021. Realme is yet to confirm the arrival of the Realme 8 series.
