OnePlus is expected to announce its affordable flagship phone, the OnePlus 9 RT on October 15. The device is expected to launch in China and India. On the China 3C certifications site, a OnePlus phone with model number MT2110 has been spotted. OnePlus 9 RT may be the official moniker for this device in China. The same device has now surfaced at Geekbench.
The OnePlus 9 RT is equipped with the Qualcomm chipset Lahaina, according to the Geekbench listing. Based on the codename of the chipset in the listing, it is confirmed that the handset will use the Snapdragon 888 SoC. We should wait to hear more about the OnePlus 9 RT’s exact processor in future reports.
It comes equipped with 12 GB of RAM, and it runs the Android 11 operating system. During the single-core test, it scored 818 and during the multi-core test, it scored 3246. According to reports, this variant is launching in India will have model number MT2111.
As far as specifications go, the OnePlus 9 RT will have a 6.55-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display. In terms of optics, it will sport a triple rear camera setup with a combination of a 50-megapixel primary sensor paired with 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. On the front, it has 16-megapixel selfie camera. Battery capacity is 4,500mAh, which supports fast-charging up to 65W. The handset is expected to have up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage.
