As suggested by few reports in recent times, Motorola is speculated to be working on a new Moto G7 smartphone and it goes without saying that this smartphone could be launched in the global markets soon. While the details of this smartphone remain a mystery, for now, a report by MySmartPrice has revealed the first official render of the upcoming smartphone. This leaked render sheds light on some of the details, especially on the back and front design.
The leaked image of the device shows a small waterdrop notch. So, this could be the Motorola’s first smartphone to feature waterdrop notch. The image also shows that the rear-facing dual-camera setup has a horizontal design, with two sensors placed side-by-side, and covered by a circular mount that also has a dual-LED flash fitted below the sensors. There is also a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner placed below the camera, it flaunts the ‘M’ badge.
If we look carefully, we can spot the SIM tray on the top. Moreover, the power and volume buttons are placed on the right side and the speaker at the bottom.
Moreover, today the Moto G7 spotted on US FCC site revealing some details of the phone. The new FCC listing for Moto G7 variant XT 1965-3 claims that the smartphone will come with Snapdragon 660 SoC in Brazil + Latin America as well as Western Europe + Japan + Australia and New Zealand markets. The listing also claims that the device will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage in these countries. Sadly, the FCC listing only reveals the specifications of the device with model number XT 1965-3 model, which will appear in Western Europe, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand while the Moto G7 listing with model number XT 1965-4 will arrive in India.
Moto G7 Rumored Specifications
Previous reports suggested that the upcoming Moto G7 will have a 6.4-inch full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. The device is expected to be powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 660, paired with 4GB of RAM and a 64GB of internal storage. The Moto G7 is rumored to pack a 3,500mAh battery with wireless charging support as a new charging pad made by Motorola was spotted.
In terms of optics, the smartphone is expected to feature dual camera set up at the rear which includes a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. Up front, the device is speculated to hold 12-megapixels selfie camera.
