All good news to game junkies: Nubia set to unveil Red Magic in India expected to price below Rs 30,000

ZTE”s subbrand Nubia is prepping to make an upturn in India soon by its latest smartphone Red Magic a premium midrange gaming smartphone post-Diwali.In between the company already teased about the arrival of second-gen Nubia Red Magic 2 in China.

To recollect, The Red Magic was launched internationally earlier this year in April and stands out for its unique design, a customisable LED RGB strip that will have gamers drooling. Nubia claims it has used extra layers of graphite, convex-styled back and the four cooling ports on the back of the device to keep it cool during demanding gaming sessions.

The smartphone expected to be priced around Rs 30,000 and the phone will be made available in the Indian market after the Diwali season. Nubia is looking to provide special offers for customers who pre-book the handset, as per sources information.

The Nubia Red Magic which was unveiled back in August starts with the price at CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 26,400) for the 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant in the Chinese market and goes up to CNY 2,999 (about Rs. 31,600) for the 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage model.

Specifications

The smartphone flaunts by a 6-inch Full HD display is armed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor clocked up to 2.45GHz. It has an anodized aluminium body with a customisable RGB colour LED light strip on the rear.

It is expected that the 8GB version with 128GB model could be launched in India. The Phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo stock Android and has a fingerprint sensor at the back.

The phone ticks all day by a 3800 mAh battery and has a USB Type-C port for charging. For photos, the camera will standout for its f/1.7 24MP sensor that is capable of recording 4k videos as well as 720p video at 120fps. On the front, it has an 8MP camera with f2.0 aperture.

Connectivity options on the Nubia Red Magic include 4G VoLTE, dual-band 2X2 MIMO Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
