Acer India on Friday announced the expansion of its gaming laptop portfolio in the country with the launch of the new Acer Nitro 5. The gaming laptop comes at a price of Rs 89,990 on Amazon India and comes only with the Obsidian Black colour option in India.

Under the hood, the Acer Nitro 5 laptop comes with Intel Core 15-10300H CPU four-core, eight-thread CPU can turbo up to 4.5GHz along with 6GB of GDR6 VRAM. It comes with GPU options for up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060.  The laptop comes with two slots for M.2 PCIe SSDs, up to 2TB HDD, and up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM. The laptop sports a 15.6-inch full-HD (1,920×1,080 pixels) TFT LCD backlit display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 3ms response. The laptop comes pre-installed with Windows 10 Home.

In weight, the Acer Nitro 5 gaming laptop weighs 2.3kg and comes equipped with connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, USB Type-C port (USB 3.2 Gen 2), and USB 3.2 Gen 2 port with power-off charging. Nitro 5 adopts Killer Ethernet E2600 to prioritize gameplay and effortlessly stream games as well.

Coming to the battery department the company claims that the 57.5Whr battery of the laptop can deliver up to 10 hours of backup. The laptop also has a 4-zone RGB keyboard with a dedicated NitroSense Key. WASD and arrow keys are also highlighted for quick location, and the keys have a 1.6mm travel distance. Another key highlight of the new laptop is Acer CoolBoost technology that keeps the system temperature at an optimal level for consistent gaming performance.
