LG is all set to host its big event to unveil its latest flagship LG V40 ThinQ within a couple of days. The smartphone is scheduled for launch on October 3 in New York and October 4 in Seoul. The smartphone which has been gone through a lot of rumours, by which we got a pretty idea about what the handset would carry. The main highlight in this device is that it carries five cameras three at the back and two at the front is expected as per rumours. Meanwhile, ahead of the official launch, a last-minute leak has detailed the functioning of the five cameras in the alleged LG V40 ThinQ. The new render eventually hinted at how the five cameras in the upcoming smartphone do wonders.
According to a renowned tipster, Evan Blass (aka @evleaks)have come up with details of the upcoming phone where he shared the details of the LG V40 ThinQ camera setup. According to the leak, the phone will come with three cameras on its back, with a standard angle lens, a super wide-angle lens, and a telephoto zoom lens. On the front, the smartphone will have a dual camera setup with a standard lens and a wide-angle lens.
As per the previous render, the triple camera set up at the back is said to carry a combination of a 12-megapixel sensor working alongside a 16-megapixel sensor and a 12-megapixel sensor..where the latter two are expected to feature the super wide-angle and telephoto lens respectively. T. Meanwhile, the two selfie cameras on the front expected to carry an 8-megapixel sensor and a 5-megapixel sensor and are expected to enable 3D face recognition on the handset. The two selfie cameras will also reportedly be able to capture bokeh shots.
Apart from the camera, the smartphone will sport a large 6.4-inch QHD+ p OLED FullVision display with an unknown resolution and aspect ratio. The smartphone sports notch design at the top. The handset is hooked with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC running the Adreno 630 GPU alongside 6GB of RAM. The phone is expected to come in two storage configurations of 64GB and 128GB. The phone ticks by a 3,300mAh battery and will likely be running Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-box. The device may also come with a dedicated Google Assistant hardware button and LG’s proprietary Quad DAC audio technology.
