10.or G2 with Snapdragon 636 Chipset Surfaces Online, Launch Seems Imminent

10.or, a Chinese company is set to add yet another 10.or-branded smartphone in its lineup. Last year, the company had unveiled only one smartphone named the 10.or D2 in India. Now, as spotted on the Google Play Developer Console’s Device Catalog, 10.or is working on the 10.or G2 smartphone and it is expected to launch soon in India.

XDA Developers have spotted a 10.or phone in the device catalog of Google Play Console. It is speculated that this device could be the upcoming 10.or G2 smartphone. The listing contains specs of the smartphone.

As per the XDA Developers report, the purported the 10.or G2 features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset clocked at the 370MHz processor and the chipset is paired with 6 GB of RAM. Even though the chipset feels old, it is currently used in popular smartphones such as Xiaomi Note 5 Pro, Redmi Note 6 Pro, Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1, Motorola One Power, and other smartphones. The listing further reveals that phone to have an Adreno 509 GPU. However, the listing does not reveal the display size, but it does suggest that the 18.7:9 panel will operate at full HD+ (2246×1080) resolution. The smartphone is likely to sport notched display. Few reports claim that the device will sport a 5.2-inch display with 1080 x 2246 pixels resolution and 480ppi pixel density.

Besides these highlighting specifications, the Device Catalog also has a low-resolution render of the phone, which indicates that the smartphone might offer either a single or two selfie cameras on the front.

As far as specifications of the smartphone are concerned, an earlier GeekBench listing had revealed that the 10.or G2 will run on the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box. The Snapdragon 660 chipset is expected to power the 10.or G2 smartphone along with 6 GB of RAM.
